Fall Favorites

Today actually felt like fall in Texas! It was gorgeous and we might have stayed out at recess a little longer than normal  Before too  much longer we won’t be able to indulge in outside recess and will be regulated to GoNoodle to handle our wiggles.  The fall-weather came in just in time for the first round of playoffs. We will be playing this Friday night and I am planning as if we will continue practice and games for the foreseeable future.  #lionpride

The fall weather had me in a boots & scarf mood, wanting to make my house smell of fall and indulge in all fall things.  Here’s a list of my Fall Favorites!

Favorite Candle: We don’t burn candles due to the dogs very active & bushy tails.  Instead I use a Scentsy. My favorite fall scent is definitely “Everything Nice”.  It’s a blend of vanilla, caramel & brown sugar.  It permeates the entire house and makes our home seem welcoming.

Favorite Lip Color: Clinique Chubbystick Curviest Caramel.  One in my purse & one in my desk at all times.

Favorite Drink: It’s a tie!  I love hot apple cider or hot Lady Grey Earl tea.  Both warm me up from the inside and give me a few minutes of peace and calm.

Favorite Blush: tarte exposed-nude.  This is the first blush that hasn’t caused my face to panic and break out. It’s very natural and barely there.

Favorite Fall Clothing Item: So. Hard. I wish I could teach all day in leggings, boots & a tunic but alas that outfit is not considered “professional”.  So instead I  am pretty obsessed with my newest blanket scarf, my brown riding boots & slouchies from Shop the Mint boutique.  If you have never owned a slouchy before you are seriously missing out.

please excuse my awkward car selfie

Favorite Fall TV Show: Nashville.  Coach & I decided to forgo satellite TV about seven months ago and instead use Netflix & Hulu.  I just stared Nashville and am quickly engrossed.

Favorite Thanksgiving Food: Mashed potatoes hands down.  My mom makes the fluffiest potatoes that I am still striving to emulate as a wife.

Let’s squeeze out every minute of fall y’all!
